Christmas decorations
How many houses in your area decorate the whole of the outside for Christmas ? There are many in Norfolk where I live that really go overboard and the electricity bills must be enormous!
I would be interested to know what happens in other countries. One house locally collects for charity at the gate so I suppose it is a worthwhile cause . What are your views? I am doing a small survey on this to write a report for our local paper so would really welcome your comments and any pictures you may have.

In australia some people go crazy - there is one house just north of Sydney (called Gracelands for obvious reasons) which makes a huge amount for charity with its decorations...people create huge traffic jams just to go and see it.
Thanks dave - I agree with you but have not yet mastered the art of doing this - I will take some digital photos and have a go - my decorations and bits and pieces NEED to be in pictures. I have been too busy lately to update the blog but now staff christmas dinner is over I will be back in full swing!
